Wake The Nation 2018The Wake the Nation Tour is BACK for 2018. This year heading out from the Heart of America's Midwest and out to the West Coast, the tour will end up in Mariposa, California for the Nation's leading underground bass music festival, The Untz Festival.

Headed by ThazDope owners Kevin Moore (Spankalicious) and Shawn Sparlin (Lodurr), the crew sets out across the land with a BRAND NEW sound system from Hennessey Sound Design (Boston, MA). With 100.000 watts of bass at their fingertips, the ThazDope crew entirely plans on waking the nation in many new cities this year, as well as returning to a few staple cities (Denver, CO 5/28 and Oakland, CA for Wormhole Wednesday on 5/30)

The tour kicks off in a very unconventional way in Higginsville, Missouri (the home town of Spankalicious) where the crew puts on an assembly that will be open to the public at Lafayette Co. C-1 High School Gymnasium at 1:30 pm! Assisting Spank on this first date will be East Coast crew, beardthug (Mallek Saleh and Seamus Southern) along with long time Midwest label mate Danny Grooves (Dan Winston). On this date the intention is to inspire students by showing them something that has never been seen within this farming community. The crew will be teaching about the music industry, music recording, distribution, and of course sharing real life stories from the road.

Also making stops in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah, and California. Join us as we continue a tradition across the United States to Wake the Nation. This 4/20 marks the 4th anniversary of ThazDope, which will be celebrated at Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain.

The tour announcement aligns with the unveiling of thazdope.com, which will also serve as the label's new home for its artist agency. Now the full service brand will not only bring new artists to your playlists, it will bring the next generation of bass music stars to your home town.
