Rarely are we blindsided by a complete unknown, but today, color us impressed. Earlier this week, we dropped the BRANX remix of Exmag's "Tilt Mode," featuring the vocal stylings of frequent Lowtemp collaborator GiBBZ. It's difficult enough to compete with BRANX, but within 48 hours, we've got yet another take on the bedroom beauty, and this from total newcomer, Spencer.

Spencer Collins, a guitarist and producer from San Francisco, doesn't have a whole ton of output for us to peruse, but the jazzy, symphonic, and lush reworking of "Tilt Mode" he crafted has us scratching our heads. Slowed way, way down, this batallion of horns supports and surrounds GiBBZ' vocals, building towards this pinnacle of trappy beats, and a soaring guitar line. The kid obviously has chops. We're not sure where he came from, but it's safe to assume he's headed places. Also peep the trippy artwork from Dmitry Akhchin and Richie Anderson.
