The traveling electronic music festival, HARD, has released its first in a series of mini-mixes featuring first time artists on the tour. The inaugural mini-mix comes to you courtesy of Paper Diamond. Although the series is called “future stars,” Paper Diamond is far from a rookie. Before he was Paper Diamond, he was known as Alex B, the bass player for the electronic jam band Pnuma Trio. He uses his extensive background in music to jump from style to style, and technique to technique. This mix, which borrows heavily from his newest EP, Paragon, is a perfect example of what you'll get at a Paper Diamond show. Lots of deep, chest rumbling bass, melodic female vocals, and an eclectic group of styles that ranges all over the EDM spectrum. Look out for Paper Diamond this summer at festivals like Movement Detroit, NYC's Governor's Ball, Bonnaroo, Hard Summer and more.
