Just a short month ago, recently-turned 19-year-old video director MILES EVERT graduated from high school. During his time as an upperclassman, the do-it-yourself cinematographer spent time creating video for the likes of some of EDM's most established stars including Rusko, Borgore, Flux Pavilion, and Doctor P, as well as getting permission from his teachers during his senior year to go on the road "Almost Famous" style for two of EDM's top up-and-coming acts Krewella and Adventure Club. MILES is responsible for bringing us Krewella's latest video from Daytona Beach for "Alive" and has a new music video in-store set to launch later this month for the group’s song "Feel Me" off the their debut EP, Play Hard. In between trips with Krewella, MILES got the chance to film an incredible video capturing the true essence of Canada's hottest duo, ADVENTURE CLUB, edited to their hottest remix to date, Foxes - "Youth".
With MILES’ eye appearing to be well beyond its years, his unadulterated shooting style separating him from other live cinematographers, and his work ethic apparent in his most attentive care to shot selection, he attracted the likes of Krewella's manager, Jake "JQ" Udell, who has chosen to help MILES take his cinematography career to the next level. Stay tuned for much more to come in 2012 from MILES EVERT! He will be shooting the Krew and others at Electric Zoo, as well as covering their Stereosonic trip to Australia later this year!
This video was filmed over the course of three shows. The venues included the Key Club in Los Angeles, CA School of Rock in Tempe AZ, and the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA.
Directed, filmed and edited by Miles Evert of Miles Evert Productions (MEP).
