That’s right boys and girls, festival season is upon us and it’s time to start freaking out about our favorite gatherings and ooze over the art, music and food (among other things) we are about to ingest this summer.
Let's chat for a second about one such event that we know will get your wheels turning.
SONIC BLOOM returns to Hummingbird Ranch in Spanish Peaks County, Colorado June 16-19 for its 11th year of operation. Boasting a vivacious lineup of multi-faceted musical artists as well as a slew of interactive experiences, Sonic Bloom should be high on your list of priorities to attend this summer. Here are a few reasons why.
For starts, we have the music. Dude, Tipper is going to be there. 2 sets! Siiiiiick.
Aside from that, we are gifted a massively varied cast of performers hitting all the major pressure points along the genre spectrum. We have the sultry styling’s of Bonobo, Aussie glitch-jams courtesy of Opiuo and his live band, the mad audio/visual experience that is EOTO and a special DJ set from the one and only Nightmares on Wax.
This is only just the beginning people.
The rest of the lineup is overflowing with talent, Michal Menert with a live band, the Pretty Fantastics, Russ Liquid’s newest project, Vibesquad, Phaeleh! What more could you ask for… oh wait.
You will have to dive in for yourself and discover all the hidden treasures among this years talent including a few characters set to play The Untz Festival this year, *cough cough* Wick-it, Bass Physics, and Dynohunter.
What about movement classes and visionary community members giving intimate lectures on important social issues?
Bloom has it covered. This years festival will feature all of these and more. What sounds better than a little morning yoga followed by a seminar on urban farming? We will let you decide at this year's SONIC BLOOM Festival.
Tickets are available through the festival’s website. A number of different package options are available ranging from general admission to a comprehensive access pass the entire range of activities available throughout the weekend. There are also RV passes if you want to get the crew together and bring your home away from home.
If you are in the Rocky Mountain area this summer, get yourself over to Hummingbird Ranch and let us know just how magical Sonic Bloom can really be.
