Headroom Collective presents Phase ShiftHaving already established itself as purveyors of high quality live audio experiences, Awaken The Night is powering a new crew, Headroom Music Collective, that is positioning itself at the nexus of experimental bass and audiophiles hellbent on finding the cleanest sound.

The team that was most recently powering Tipper & Friends events with state-of-the-art Funktion-One rigs found itself with an emptier calendar than one would hope at the height of summer, but continued to nevertheless to advance its ultimate goal of sonic fidelity by recruiting the best and brightest in bass for the Headroom Collective. The result is the inaugural compilation, Phase Shift, which features familiar names like Mindex, Bumble, DRRTYWULVZ, Ovoid, Cualli, Craftal, Droplitz, and Somatoast presenting their finest pieces of audio for the real heads.

Our deepest honor is to publicize the lead track from Resonant Language, who rockets the comp out of the starting gates with “Doombap,” an addictingly head-nodding tune that blends hip-hop hooks with some crispy ass bass licks. Smoosh up your face to this one. Apropos of nothing, he's not the only The Untz Festival alum on the comp, which also boasts Murkury, Hullabalo0, Thought ProcessDeerskin, and Osmetic.

Phase Shift is available for pre-order now, and will be landing on all DSPs September 22.
