Jasper Reeder returns to The Untz Festival in 2020 after a three year hiatus, made even more unbearable by the painful agony of the absence of “Loner” from digital streaming platforms. But everything is getting fixed this month. The illusory single finally lands on Dome of Doom tomorrow, and with it comes a thunderous B-side.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, “Starcrossing” hits our feeds today, a monumental and cinematic post-dubstep thrasher for a distopian Romeo & Juliet (though Verona seemed pretty crime-riddled with bloody swordfights breaking out on every street corner and a mayor's office in utter disrepair). Reeder eschews the contemporary production aesthetic in favor of his punk roots and splays static and screaming white noise across his tattered drums.

NastyNasty along with risik and Chee will be bringing the hard-edged, snub-nosed sounds of chaos and cacophony to an otherwise sonically even-tempered lineup. While it's a return to the festival for Reeder, it will be everyone's first time at Sycamore Ranch in Browns Valley, California.
