Zach Morillo has always pursued the global bass sound. So much of his career has been spent unearthing exotic sounds from around the world, and throwing barrels of bass at them.
Take a listen to his brand new “Murdah Tune,” which takes some classic island dub and hammers it home with a rearranged horn line (executed by MORiLLO and his cronies), and plenty of outlandish trap that absolutely crushes in a number of settings. Fans will remember the eastern flavors of “Polar Bear,” which also reproduced the Godzilla horns, and that song has absolutely blown up. This song is set to slay the play count accordingly.
You won't be able to catch a live Morillo set much this year, as he's pulling double duty drumming for breakout indie sensation Rhye, but rest assured when he hits the decks, there's going to be an international party rocking all your favorite anthems.
