Darin McFadyen has never been one to keep his political views to himself. Today, we're proud to unveil the divisive video for "Why?" featuring MC Spoonface. The graphic images that accompany this west coast lo-fi psy-bass cut depict war profiteers colluding in backrooms and smiling and shaking hands on TV while war widows and orphans sob and huddle in terror.

FreQ Nasty has always drawn a line in the sand, putting a microscope up to oppression and social injustice everywhere. War mongering and bellicose fundamentalism have no place in the bass music legend's world.

"Why is about a person with a family and a life just like you and me - being tortured. I don't take it lightly. As many politicians and the media purposefully deny the connection between war and our desire for $ and 'stuff' (in all it's forms) we have to ask questions..."

The single "Why?" is out now on High Chai Recordings, with remixes from Mr. Bill, The OriGinALz, and Snareophobe. McFadyen himself reworked Bill Day's remix, and is giving away that edit for FREE, if you want to snag that.
