Dongle and Mongle are the only two other words rhyming with Shpongle...a strange hybrid of electronic manipulation and shamanic midgets with frozen digits squeezing the envelope and crawling through the doors of perception, find a new pair of dice...extra numbers and colours an infinite expanding bubble, filled with a bizzare, strange world of dripping halucinatory wallpaper, a garden of earthly delights...........Shpongleland.....a place of well being, and reflective surfaces, morphing like an Anacondas skin and shimmering like a million colour changing squid, at fifty fathoms.. truly unfathomable like seperating water from it's wetness, the Ineffable Mysteries unweave .....

Simon Posford is Hallucinogen. The twisted lone deranger that warped a generation. To be honest he needs no introduction, he's been ravaging dancefloors and opening minds for years. He has two studio albums under this name but countless other equally brilliant releases on Twisted Records. This man is probably responsible for over half of the best tunes ever. His third hallucinogen album has begun, watch this space...
PROMETHEUS:
Producer Benji Vaughan, aka PROMETHEUS, is one of Twisted Records' leading artists. Shining at the forefront of the international electronica scene, creating music and playing gigs as "Prometheus" solo, "Younger Brother" and the newly created "The Zap!" -with respective partners in crime, Simon Posford and Raja Ram- he's rocked thousands in countries such as Greece, Japan, Finland, Denmark, Mexico, Hungary, and the U.S., to name a few. Since the early nineties, he has been creating psychedelic trance and electronica under various guises and has featured as Prometheus/ Younger Brother on Twisted Records UK, and Dragonfly, as well as Cyberbabas and The Zap! on TIP Records. As a producer, he is well respected in the dance music world in general, as Contraband for Backroom Beats and JUNK, a house outfit with Joe Williams from The Light/PFN getting play from Sasha, Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, John Digweed, and all the well known house DJs. He has performed remix work for EMI and Jive Records as well as producing The Egg. In addition, he's won several awards, most notably one from Sony for his soundtrack to a Nike advert. However, it is his prowess as a trance producer that he is most famous for, ever since his earliest single, "Clarity from Deep Fog" with Process, right up to every track on "Corridor of Mirrors" in which he clearly displays his inimitable pstyle, dancefloor testimony to his skills in the studio and ability to move an audience. Check out his most recent work as Prometheus, chock full of psychedelic foot-stompers, in "Corridor of Mirrors", available now through Twisted Records' online store.
