Sift through the crate of Orchard Lounge (the collective of Ben Silver, Spencer Lokken, and Bethany Lokken), and you’ll find a disparate mish-mash of records. They’ve got everything from downtempo, space disco, house, and tech to b-boy era electro, hip hop, soul, and funk; their sets can range from sunset chill-out to bass-dropping tech house. The only constant is that their crowds are always on their feet.
Their ongoing musical missionary excursion has not just been limited to nightclubs. They’ve supported such acts at The Disco Biscuts, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Booka Shade Lotus, The New Deal, Future Rock, Bonobo, Lindstrom, DJ T, Jamie Jones, Metro Area, and Kevin Yost.
Their mission statement is simple: to share great music with everyone, whether they’re writhing on the dancefloor or resting their weary feet on the couch.
It’ll be a feast for the eyes as well as the ears, with VJ Psyperpixie on the DVJs, programming visuals all night.
With an opening set by Terence, throwing down some electro, house, and tech to kick off the night.
