Vermont's Liberate Music & Yoga Festival officially announces its 2011 event: Thursday – Friday, August 18-21 in Sheldon, VT. With Conspirator set to headline Saturday night of the festival with strong support form Everyone Orchestra featuring Michael Kang of String Cheese Incident, Rubblebucket, and many more, 2011 promises to be the festival's biggest and best year yet.
In addition to these headlining acts, there will be over 20 bands and a dozen yoga workshops throughout the weekend from nationally acclaimed teachers. Performance highlights include Surprise Me Mr. Davis, OTT (Twisted Records), Kung Fu, Marco Benevento, Lynx, Dead Sessions and Friends, Twiddle, Nathan Moore, Bob Wagner Trio, Joshua Panda Band, and more.
Liberate has become a summer tradition for Vermont residents and fans from coast to coast. The festival grounds belong to the family of the festival producers, Jane and Ben Lanza, beautiful Vermont land that is the perfect backdrop for this upbeat and eclectic, distinctly Vermont music and yoga festival.
The Liberate Music and Yoga Festival is conveniently located approximately 1hr north of Burlington, 1.5hrs south of Montreal, 4hrs North of Boston, and just over 6hrs from New York City.
