Ben Samples is one half of the live remix project Fresh2Death that is based out of Boulder, CO. His style is crunk glitch-hop, complete with bass-heavy remixes of your favorite club anthems and hip hop. His professional DJ career started in 2006 when he picked up a weekly variety radio show for CU Boulder's KVCU. His show covered many styles and genres, with a focus on dance music and hip hop. Now, Samples blends both hip hop and dance music into a hybrid club hip hop sound that is redefining the genres. Samples is a member of the Denver Bass Squad, which is the essential crew that pushes the heavy bass-line scene in the Denver/Boulder area, including a residency at the world-famous Beta night club.

Samples first EP, Snowstorm was released on Daly City Records 5/18/10. Samples was also recently featured on An-ten-nae's Acid Crunk Vol. 2 compilation (released on Muti! Music), which is available on Beatport, iTunes, Addictech and other fine retailers. Other labels that Samples has released tracks on include Run Riot Records, Car Crash Set, Mambo Records, and True Movement. Since 2008, Samples has played hundreds of shows in the Denver/Boulder area, including sharing the stage with such notable acts as: Mimosa, Eliot Lipp, Ana-Sia, Lazer Sword, Dominic Lalli, L.A. Riots, Free The Robots, Megasoid, Savoy, GSP, Lorn, Pretty Lights, VibeSquad, Two Fresh, Pnuma Duo, Future Simple Project, BreakBeat Buddha/Propa Tingz, Random Rab, Samiyam, Lunice, DJ Spectre, Boombox, Eskmo/Welder, Big Gigantic, Hovatron, Jantsen, The Passage Project, and The Egg.

J MO:

The crunk slinging beat junkie/bass head will be dropping all those dope tracks you've never heard before. For the past 2 years he has been DJing in Knoxville, TN and the surrounding areas pushing the bass music sound to many partiers. He has shared the stage with Planet of The Drums, Starkey, EPROM, Eskmo, Big Gigantic, Two Fresh, Alex B, Sleepyhead, Chronicles of a Landsquid, Borgore, Agobi Project, Leo 123, and so many more included festivals such as Dexfest, Equinox, and Alchemy.

This upcoming producer originally from the north implanted in the south is bringing some of the crunchiest new beats that are sure to rip your straps off your air force ones. Blending all styles from jam bands to dubstep to straght dance beats and hip hop. Be sure to check out a set when you can if you wanna get down and funky. Sharing the stage with such acts as Borgore, Future Rock, Bitch Please, Agobi Project, and Arpetrio good things are coming in the future so keep your eyes peeled and take in the madness.

Headroom features the ultimate dance music sound system of Knoxville--MASSIVE SOUND--which includes two stacks of six horn-loaded LAB subwoofers, and four Yorkville Unity speakers for mid- and high-frequencies, all tuned to perfection for maximum ass-shaking induction. For visual duties, we have a tasteful production of blue lasers, strobes, and moody lighting to keep the vibe proper. At the bar, you can find an assortment of energy drinks and bottled water, in addition to other refreshing beverages.
