Oh snap! Asheville Electronic Music Showcase features some of the sickest performers and producers in the Asheville area. LINEUP:

Sonmi Suite

Whether it’s recording samples in isolated tunnels, cutting up found sounds on an MPC, programming analog synths, or layering unorthodox guitar and drum sounds, Sonmi Suite creates sounds that are sure to open the imagination of any audience. The enigmatic band has entertained audiences at Trinumeral 2009, and shared other regional electronic festivals with artists such as Bonobo, Pnuma Trio, Glitch Mob, BlueTech, Two Fresh, and Emancipator. By performing indulgently rhythmic collages of sound with virtually no pre-sequence, their virtuosic performance of multiple sound layers creates a much sought-after human edge to the live electronic genre.

Don Winsley

"I didn't come here to make friends, I came here to party."

Silver Machine

Silver Machine has been gaining momentum over the past 3 years in Asheville and around the region, performing in clubs throughout NC, SC, TN, and VA, and festivals such as Dexfest, Trinumeral 2008/2009 & @ TOUCH Samadhi's Fall Equinox, while performing shows with the Malah, Zoogma, & Boombox, among others. Silver Machine is bringing the cosmic funk to festivals, clubs, and parties where people are ready for something out-of-the-ordinary.

Graviton Project

Graviton Project is a unique combination of psychedelic electronic exploration and classical keys put through the lens of the eclectic music scene in Asheville NC. This husband and wife duo is informed by many different musical backgrounds from Classical, Baroque, and Jazz to IDM, Dubstep, and Synth-Pop. Alex Finlay V is a sound man (both live and studio) and Rebecca Smith-Finlay is currently working towards her masters in piano performance at Western Carolina University. Together they are Graviton Project

This is going to be incredible
