Beam&Deem Philly EP Release Party

Friday, June 3rd, 2011

9:00 PM

The M Room - 15 West Girard Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19125

We are excited to announce the release of Beam&Deem's new EP "8 Sided." This party will be going down at The M Room and will feature support from Flote, Greg D, and Break Bomb

Beam&Deem is the launchpad for the musings of Zach Catarelli and Chris Coffey. A fresh and innovative act that strives to create a multi-sensory experience, catapulting the listener into a soundscape where classical elements create a welcoming familiarity, but where the air is also tinged with unexpectedness. In an era where the evolution of music involves merging mind with technology, Beam&Deem breathes life into the machine, generating a unique sound that will shake both your mind and your behind.

Hidden in Southern Connecticut, a buzz is quietly growing around musician/producer FLOTE's glitched out yet natural brand of electronic hip hop. FLOTE (AKA Dome Wrecka) has true artistic vision and cuts no corners, crafting synths and meticulously polishing every sound making sure nothing is overlooked or compromised. Instead of focusing on a single emotion, a FLOTE production usually melts many contradicting emotions into one, at times creating an overwhelming state of euphoria that is truly rewarding for the listener.

Greg D

Greg is a DJ / producer based out of Philadelphia, selecting only the finest in Disco, Funk and Boogie beats that will have you gettin' down and movin' your feet all night long.

Break Bomb

Break Bomb is a producer and DJ of many genres. Originally from Soviet Georgia, he's moved around enough to develop an extremely eclectic taste in music. In Brooklyn, while still in high school, he started as the front-man of Sick Liberty - a socio-political heavy punk band which has gotten notable gigs at club L'amours (among which the band opened up for Dead Kennedys, The Exploited, Biohazard & many more world-wide known headliners) rocking a crowd of up to 1,000 for some of them. Since then, Break Bomb was seen playing guitar, bass and drums in various side projects & live gigs. Around 2006, he shifted his interests to the digital domain, learning Cubase, Reason and Ableton as well as general concepts of recording & production. In May of 2010, Break Bomb was signed to Tommy Naples' label as the exclusive hip-hop producer for Chris Mason - an upcoming artist out of Philadelphia. On July 9th the Break Bomb remix of Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" ( was uploaded to test the waters as a dubstep producer. Since then, this remix has been consistently getting over 1500 plays per week. Now, coasting parallel highways of industry, you can find Break Bomb dropping breaks, dNb, psytrance & heavy dubstep tunes just about anywhere: from the filthiest underground spots to the most proper, private banquet-hall events - changing what our public perceives as "mainstream music" one event at a time.
