Favorite ThisPretty Lights, Nero, GRiZ head up Buku 2016 in New Orleans March 11-12

Buku 2016With its fifth installment returning to Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, LA from March 11-12, The Buku Project today unveiled its first round lineup with some serious heavy-hitters. The multi-genre festival, with a focus on EDM, hip-hop, indie rock and pop has tapped headliners from around the music industry, lead off by Pretty Lights, Nero, GRiZ, Baauer, Above & Beyond, and Yellow Claw in the electronic department.

House fave Art Department is joined by Thugfucker and J.Phlip B2B Kill Frenzy. You can also catch wunderkind Mija B2B Anna Lunoe. More top-notch talent includes UNTZ fave G Jones, Cashmere Cat B2B Trippy Turtle, What So Not, Feed Me, and Tchami.

Hip-hop is well-repped by Comedy Bang Bang co-host Kid Cudi, Earl Sweatshirt, Future, and a crazy Mystikal B2B Juvenile B2B Fly Boi Keno (who also composed the festival's booty-clappin' lite feet anthem "TOO BUKU," which served as the soundtrack for the lineup release video).

Early Birds and Advance tickets have vanished, but GA tickets set at $189.50 are on-sale now, as well as the VIP and TOO BUKU VIP levels which give fans access to the S.S. BUKU, a riverboat docked alongside the festival, which will feature Autograf, Louis the Child, and The Funk Hunters, among others.
