We're getting in a real nice groove now. All the good underground bass is flowing our way, and we're so thrilled ot be sharing it. Our latest delight comes from two hustling east coast producers who have made a nice foothold in the scene. Let's see if we can't bring some more attention their way.

We first learned about Mindset from his phenomenal contribution to ThazDope Records' Heterodox compilation, curated by Levitation Jones. “Resurgence” was a banger of a tune, so our expectations were high when he hooked up his new collab with Tsimba.

Thankfully, the hype is real.

Timmy Walker (Mindset) and Mark Evans Musto (Tsimba) were able to balance their varied approaches to come together on “Steady Creepin',” a deeply dangerous tune with a sinister snarl. It's a weirdly wobbly cut with plenty of razor sharp kicks and snares to keep us guessing. We had a ton of fun blasting this one.

You can catch Mindset's west coast debut with our partners at Wormhole. He'll be hitting Wormhole Wednesday at The New Parish in Oakland, California on March 1st alongside the main man ill.Gates. Tsimba will be touring this April with Mickman and DeeZ, so you don't have to just sit and home pouting about not seeing these tunes live—the opportunity is steady creepin' on you.
