LE CASTLE VANIA

ALWAYS NEVER| SO SWEET

ATLANTA

Atlanta based and internationally known, Le Castle Vania, commonly known as Dylan Eiland, gained notoriety with his riotous DJ sets and penchant for production, which made him a household name in the dirty and distorted, indie-electro scene.

His signature sound blends grinding disco punk with strong electronic beats and catchy synth leads, resulting in banging electro music that is dark and dirty but somehow equally uplifting and dancey. New mixes to check out include Tigertron, an original work off of his first non-remix release, “Troubletron EP,” and remixes of “Come Out” for 120 days (Vice Records) and “Bombs” for Scanners (Dim Mak Records), which have all received critical appraisal from the indie electro world.

URB Magazine included Le Castle Vania in their Next 100 for 2008, NYLON and Jane Magazine absolutely demand he play at their events. Fader, Flavorpill and BigStereo have all “raved” about his remixes. It’s clear this is a talent not to be dismissed, for Le Castle Vania is sure to be on the tip of everyone’s tongue and his sounds to be banging in everyone’s heads throughout 2008. After finding a home at So Sweet Records and cranking out some original tracks and remixes for Partyshank and Toxic Avenger, these two have gained notoriety as the up-and-comers to keep your eye on. They are currently working on remixes for Shinichi Osawa and Late of the Pier and are gearing up for a DJ tour to Mexico and Europe.

TERRAVITA

BOSTON

FIRST PORTLAND APPEARANCE!

Terravita is probably best known as the drum & bass alter ego of electro power house Hot Pink Delorean, but the trio of Chris Barlow, Matt Simmers and Jon Spero were making DnB for years before trying their hands at house music.

The group was first picked up in 2006 by Maldini & Vegas's Bad Taste Recordings, releasing 4 tunes with them on their Bad Taste 2 LP. Shortly thereafter Simon Bassline Smith signed the group to a deal with his Technique Recordings label. Terravita released 4 singles with Technique before parting ways including the jump up hit "Adult Robot Kung Fu".

Since parting ways with Technique, Terravita has released several tunes with Subsonik Sound as well as a remix of AK1200's rave anthem "Drowning" that hit #4 on the Beatport Drum & Bass Charts.

In November of 2010, Terravita released "Up In the Club" on Beta Recordings, which hit #4 on the Dubstep charts and #94 on the Overall charts on Beatport.

Terravita has more Beta releases lined up as well as a 4 track EP for Rottun forthcoming

IRIDIUM SKY & IKARI

MADCOW | TELEVISIONARY

SEATTLE

FIRST PORTLAND APEARANCE!

Alice and Ky have always shared an avid love for Electronic Dance music. They started out as enthusiastic party goers, attending most of Seattle's EDM events, and staying involved in the dance music scene.

Driven by the desire to evolve and extend their passion, they began DJing in 2006. At the time, there were already numerous individual male and female DJs in Seattle playing various styles of music. So to set themselves apart, they decided to join forces and play a niche of trance that was being neglected, and in late 2006, they formed Iridium Sky & Ikari.

Their mission was to share the music they loved, and all the emotions & experiences found within it, with those who understood and embraced it. With the support of Seattle's finest, Televisionary Records, Webbwerx, and Madcow they were able to accomplish what they set forth to do.

You can expect to hear a mix of trance, progressive, hard trance, and psytrance from these two. Their inspirations and influences include Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson, John O'Callaghan, Infected Mushroom, Asterix, and Aly & Fila.

Since débuting at Gettin' Lucky 2 in March 2007, they've had the opportunity to share the stage with Aly & Fila, Filo & Peri, Global Deejays, John O'Callaghan, Phil York, Robbie Long, Sean Tyas, Simon Patterson, Uberzone, and Warp Brothers.
