Close to the Edge is the premiere Art and Music Festival in the Southeast. Hosting talents that encompass the realms of Rock, Reggae, Dub Step, Hip Hop, and Soul that range from local to global, Close to the Edge will have a taste for every musical palate. Performances by keytar wielding Dam Funk, who the LA times attributes with the resurgence of Boogie, i...s guaranteed to add electricity to this three day party. What has thearea buzzing however is the headliner of Close to the Edge, Diplo.
These days he is more readily identified by his work with Major Lazer and MIA or even his commercial for Black Berry, however Diplo started his career with his first studio album release entitled Florida. Bringing his career full circle, Diplo will headline Close to the Edge in his hometown of Edgewater, Florida.
Those familiar with Diplo may associate his music with an urban setting like Philadelphia, the base for the label Diplo owns and operates. The rural sounds of Edgewater however, inspired the sound that has in turn inspired a million parties all over the world. In fact, Diplo will be fresh off a tour in Australia when he touches down in Central Florida.

Tickets go on sale this Friday Nov 26th at 12am with special deals throughout the entire day. Weekend passes are only $25 dollars in advance and single day tickets are $15.
Close to the edge is December 17th, 18th & 19th in Edgewater, Florida. I-95 exit 224.
