Bursting out of Milwaukee is another member of the thriving Faceless Future Collective. Young Devin Lee has made an impact with his ZeroGravity project, and on January 24th, his latest EP, First Quarter, gets a release on a staple of the west coast bass scene, MalLabel Music.
Today we premiere “Loose Lips Sink Ships,” a real mercurial tune that has a real vibey intro that descends into some real left-field wub work. It's a trademark of those Wisco kids to get as weird as possible, and Lee is a prime example of that super experimental sound that captivates that Faceless crowd. We've got a good hunch that the rest of the EP is just as 'out there.' Which is exactly what we dig.
We've been watching ZeroGravity's progress from afar over the years, but now we're ready to turn people's attention and get them to start taking note.
