7. Defunk - Forever and Never ft Marshall McGee

This is the type of jam that gets heads nodding instantly. It's no wonder Defunk is making waves with his own brand of funk influenced bass music. Featuring Marshall McGee, a dope producer in his own right, this one is nothing but funky summertime goodness.

6. RBTS Win - Beach Child

This one is a slight departure from the rest of this list, leaning towards more of an R&B sound. I discovered the group RBTS Win about a year ago, and I've been infatuated with their unique brand of soul ever since. Retro-influenced vocals over sample-based production make this track and their entire album Palm Sunday perfect for getting lost on a summer day with your favorite people. Keep an eye out for these dudes.

5. Kinetik Groove - Get Lifted

As a producer you just know when you've found the right sample, and I imagine Colorado's Kinetik Groove knew as soon as he heard these classic strings and vocals that he found his chops. Fortunately for us, the talented producer did those samples justice on this banger from his Philos Records debut. I'm not saying you should get high and listen to this chilled out yet bass heavy tune... but I'm not not saying that.
