Oh yeah, big month for us here at TheUntz.com. September proved to contain its fair share of meaty releases, and we're just thrilled to bring you the best of the best. Who decided it was the best of the best? The Untz staff did. Who are we to decide what was the best stuff to come out all month? Nerds who nerd out on nerdy stuff. This is our bread and butter. We're listening to electronic music all day long so you don't have to. We boiled the month down to 10 fiery releases that will have you sailing right into the weekend. Pop some popcorn and let's get started.

10. Bass Coma ft Spankalicious - Time to Get Naughty
Bass Coma ft Spankalicious - Top 10 EDM Releases - September 2013
The youngsters who called themselves Bass Coma turned to industry vet Spankalicious for the icing on their bouncy new tune "Time to Get Naughty." Trappy and twisted, this fun tune has that right amount of zing to kick of our list. This is psytrap at its best. Hip-hop blasts off with that shady dude hanging out behind the churro vendor. Strap on your moon boots and start throwing gang signs.

9. RUMTUM - World Vybz
RUMTUM - Top 10 EDM Releases - September 2013
We just found out about RUMTUM this past month, but apparently the dude has been making fans out of some pretty important people. Not only did he get a big release on STS9's 1320 Records, but he's playing the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO for Signal Path's big album release. "World Vybz" is such a chill, tropical tune, it had us boogieing up and down the hallways. This groove-intense cut is perfect for blowing off some steam after a long work week... with some of that... *cough, cough*... St. John's Wort, y'all.

8. Stylust Beats - R.Y.F.S.O.
Stylust Beats - Top 10 EDM Releases - September 2013
Rip yer fuckin' sleeves off, dummy. Just do it. The tank top is the chosen garment of winners. Especially of our buddy from north of the border, Stylust Beats. Homeslice rips that shit off, but cats are going to be rippin' off his new sound when they get a glimpse. Stylust put his own twist on the trap sound, going weird and wild and all the way out there. All the way.

7. Krewella - Get Wet
Krewella - Top 10 EDM Releases - September 2013
Yes, of course the Krewella album made our list. It's only the biggest EDM crossover album of the year. The pop charts have spoken. The trio of kids from round the block that we used to know back in Chicago are suddenly some of the biggest supestars on the scene. People who don't know a thing about dance music are going to know the name Krewella. Get Wet will be the first exposure to dubstep, electro, and house that some in the next generation of dance music lovers will have. That's the plain truth. Congrats guys, you're on top of the world.

6. Bassnectar - Take You Down EP
Bassnectar - Top 10 EDM Releases - September 2013

You think the big, bad bass man is going to release an EP and it's going to sneak past us? Take You Down finds Bassnectar playing around with melodies and sweet sounds like he never has before. Of course it's heavy, of course it's gritty, but at the end of the day, it's quintessentially Ashton--and that's what we want. And Immersive Music Tour is going to blow the doors off of some unsuspecting arenas.
