We're easing back into things from the holiday weekend with a vibey new one from Pacific Northwest producer Too Much. The solo project of Aleks Arzhanov, the future sounds are thick with this one.
Coming from the band world, Arzhanov's production work can lean from hard-edged hip-hop beats to smooth, future bass waviness, much like you're getting on “Azure Aura,” one of four tracks from the Aura EP which is slated for a November 29 release on Gold Prospector.
Fans have already heard “Violet Aura,” and similar to “Azure Aura,” Arzhanov is flexing his abilities, bringing an energetic IDM aesthetic to a chiller, more rounded sound. There is quite a bit of range demonstrated on just these tracks that we've heard, and a full dive into his repertoire is worth it.
Too Much is getting a lot of love from not only some of our favorite labels, but a number of tastemakers around the globe. Find out what the fuss is all about.
