At The Untz Festival, the steamy set dropped in the middle of Mariposa, California by TLZMN sent fans into a frenzy. Wielding a highly weaponized brand of halftime, the shadowy figure thundered through a colossal set of sludgy, swampy, and at times, smoldering songs that completely transfixed the main stage.
Today, TLZMN returns to our speakers with the billowing “Calico,” a UK-influenced, heavy halftime tune that swaggers with an inspirational intensity. It's not all bravado and aggression here, oh hell no. There is poise and patience in the sound design of this one. It's a wild treasure to be savored like a delicious treat.
Fans get to enjoy this delight on the eve of TLZMN's sojurn to Boston to join Bleep Bloop on The Fifth Pupil tour. Over the next few months TLZMN hops on and off the tour with Aaron Triggs as new fans across the country discover this new talent.
