For B-Roc and JPatt (Ben Ruttner and James Patterson) of The Knocks, pop is not a bad word. Quite the opposite. As the worlds of dance, pop, and indie collide, the NYC duo find themselves at a sonic sweet spot both in their sound and their career. Huge collaborations with mainstream acts fueled the fire for their inventive originals, which feature danceable hooks and Pattersons' infectious vocals promising hot nights and sweaty delights. Staying cool is easy when you're sought after by artists the industry wide for remixes, and every hot vocalist wants to be on your track. Their debut EP Magic was followed by a single with French House legend Fred Falke, "Geronimo." Just recently, the duo released a summer anthem "The Feeling" on Beatport and iTunes. B-Roc explains where The Knocks came from and where they are going during this interview with TheUntz.com's Anand Harsh.
