Bluegrass and dance music--that's what the people want.
The inaugural TALOA Festival hitting Guthrie, OK from September 25-27 has already got it figured out! By pairing classic Americana, roots, and jam acts with progressive dance music artists, TALOA is ticking all the boxes festie fans desire in a lineup.
This week, TALOA added transformational favorites Desert Dwellers and Kalya Scintilla & Eve Olution, who join Random Rab as representatives of that evolved electronic aesthetic. Super popular instrumental dance act TAUK has also been added in this Phase 2 lineup, joining jamtronica acts like ZOOGMA, SunSquabi, and Greenhouse Lounge. Of course, when it comes to livetronica, it helps to have the pioneers of the sound, the NEW DEAL, on board, as well. Leftover Salmon members will be jamming with Traveling McCoury's, too!
TALOA will serve as the debut of the highly-anticipated Dreamers Delight project, spearheaded by an unknown producer whom The Untz featured earlier this week. He joins high-caliber producers like Eliot Lipp and ill-esha on the bill. Electro-soul is also well represented by Vibe Street, Late Night Radio, and Philos Records head Ageless Beats.
The great state of Texas is feeding TALOA with plenty of talent. Nadis Warriors, Resonant Frequency, Collidoscope, and Cream Cheese Accident bring Lone Star vibes to the Sooner State. And of course, there is plenty of jam on the agenda. Could possibly even get a Kinetik Groove x Blunt Force = Kinetik Force live collab!
Festival passes are coming in at a crazy low $69 for all three days. Make sure you head on over to taloafestival.com, and we'll see you in OK this September!
