Swedish house, techno, and minimal producer Linus Eklöw has been steadily working his way up the charts in his homeland, Europe, and in the States. Eklöw grew up on jazz and soul, studying to become a professional drummer, but when he purchased his first computer as a teen and started crafting dub and drum 'n' bass, he became hooked. Bitten by the rave scene in the States, he returned home and immediately dove into DJing as Style of Eye.

Through connections in Stockholm, Eklöw eventually ended up on underground labels like Classic and John Dahlbäck's Pickadoll, and eventually fell into good company with the Swedish House Mafia. So far, he has released three singles on Sebastien Ingrosso's label, Refune, with the latest "We are Boys," just now hitting iTunes. On this episode, Eklöw discusses his roots in drumming and producing, as well as his relationship with major Swedish figures. He also discusses the new track, and his plans to tour the United States in the very near future.

This episode is brought to you by The Werk Out festival, taking place this weekend (Sept. 8-11) in Bellefontaine, OH.
