It’s safe to say
Stephan Jacobs is on the come up. The Los Angeles based producer has been slaying tracks, and most importantly, touring with
Pretty Lights and the Identity Festival. He’s had a lot on his plate recently, but the year is still young for this unstoppable man of steel.
Jacobs’ most recent burst of creativity is the second single from his frothcoming album, set to be unleashed for free on October 16th. “Imagine” opens up with harmonious synth progressions and the enthralling vocals from Delevo, who’s worked with Jacobs on multiple tracks under his Kether moniker. Mesmerizing live drum work from SunEvil gently weaves its way underneath both of these components, combining to create a steady juxtaposition of heavy and enticingly chilled out throughout. Pulsating dub womps, heartfelt lyrics, and bass for days--what you know about that?
Stephan Jacobs brings together a team of exceedingly talented artists on “Imagine,” and result is smooth, buttery madness. Catch him touring across the country with ill.Gates throughout October and December, and as a special bonus, he’s doing a streaming mini-set exclusively for The Untz on Wednesday, October 24th at 4:20 MST from the Grassroots California store in Denver, CO. If you’re in town, he’ll be participating in a
live broadcast of The Untz Podcast and workshop as part of his brand new hat release through GRC, so come on down!
