We've had the pleasure of hosting Smokestax at The Untz Festival for the past couple years. This year, Ethan Uellendahl threw down an especially memorable B2B set with Brainrack, chronicled below.

Thanks to his fans, we are treated once again by Smokestax, as he turns out three tracks for three thousand followers on Soundcloud. Uellendahl unleashed Lost in Your Mind last week, and we're thrilled to report that each of these tunes is a ripper.

True to his wonky, lo-fi beats that run the gamut from chilled out to frenetic, there's a range of styles and flavors across the title track, “Are You Alone,” and “Victims.” It's fun and keeps you guessing the whole time, which is exactly the kind of low end experimentalism we love.

Catch Smokestax alongside the 5am Trio at Wonder Bar in outer Boston on October 24th with a fun gaggle of guest artists. Keep 'em guessin', Ethan.
