A rising star of west coast bass pays tribute to an east coast rap legend. After much anticipation, the first taste of SAYER's Human Failure EP sees the light of day. A staple of many hard-touring, speaker slapping favorites of ours, “Black Hoodies” lifts a Biggie line and smashes it into a stack of subs. Fearsome and full of some cutting edge production tricks, the powerful tune has that grit and edge we've come to know and love from an up-and-comer with a signature sound.
The Human Error Mixtape was just the beginning of the big break for SAYER, who went on to release a number of collabs and remixes, while also hitting The Untz Festival, and landing a starring role on Bleep Bloop's The Fifth Pupil tour, which continues this month. Meanwhile, we'll keep feeding you these delicious morsels that will whet your appetite for the new EP coming later this month.
