The Untz is announcing an exciting new expansion to usher in the New Year. In an effort to keep up with the constantly evolving electronic music industry, we are adding an entirely new section dedicated to uncovering and promoting cutting-edge music. Our goal is to guide and encourage fans to explore their taste in music on a deeper level by providing irresistible “Fresh Beatz” that gets them clicking in the right direction. This section will be regularly updated and contain original, innovative sounds, and EXCLUSIVE tracks from the entire spectrum of electronic music. We also hope to find a few musical masterminds who have been overlooked and get them the recognition they deserve by promoting their music to our large and diverse following of DJs, producers, promoters, agents, fans, and more. We encourage feedback and are excited to hear your submissions as we embark on this new venture.

Denver-based producer Ben Samples is a beat making machine. In 2011, the ambitious producer unleashed countless high quality tracks, despite his busy schedule as he traveled to over 90 different gigs all over the US and Canada. Keeping his fans satisfied, he fed them free new music while exploring a wide variety of genres. Samples is laying the groundwork for an extended career in the business on a rock solid foundation.

Along with 2 EPs, collaborations with notable producers such as ill.Gates and Mochipet, and impressive remix work, Samples earned the title of #1 Beatport Glitch-Hop artist. His most powerful release, Sex, Drugs, and Bass, in which he concocted bass-heavy, glitch-rock BANGERS by remixing popular rock songs like ACDC's "Back in Black" and Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" made him the first ROCK STAR in electronic music industry.

The Untz is excited to bring you a Samples exclusive: "Capture the Flag," from his forthcoming album Life of the Party scheduled to release in 2012 on Mal Label. "Capture the Flag" has Samples' signature glitch sound and is also featured on his Shambhala 2011 live set. His live shows continue to improve and impress, and he'll be joining Conspirator for a slew of Colorado dates on their Winter 2012 Blizzard of Beats Tour.
