Since 2004, Quixotic Fusion has been the premiere performance cooperative in Kansas City, MO, and perhaps the entire region. Bringing together musicians, dancers, aerialists, visual artists, lighting designers, animators, and fashion designers, Quixotic is a multilevel, multi-platform collaborative that produces theatrical events which are a spectacle to behold.

The co-founder of the troupe, Anthony Magliano, is the featured guest on this week's program. A percussionist and multi-instrumentalist by trade, Magliano composes the group's music--with help from a number of extremely talented players--which blends tribal drums, glitchy beats, and acoustic instruments to create a wholly original sound. Quixotic Fusion will be joining the Kansas City Symphony at the Lyric Theatre in Kansas City, MO on Friday, May 13th. They will be putting on several showcases at Wakarusa, June 2-5 at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, AK.
