While most people are figuring out how to get their turkey in the oven, true fans of great electronic music are trying figure out how to get their asses to San Francisco, CA for Sea of Dreams: Frequen-Sea on December 30th and 31st at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Bringing together the biggest names in underground dance and electronic music, as well as some sonic wizards on real instruments (*gasp*), the Bay is the place to be to ring in 2015.

Derek Vincent Smith will be bringing the Pretty Lights live band to the Bill Graham for two nights, summoning some of the dirtiest, funkiest artists to re-interpret, re-arrange, and re-inspire the PL catalog. Smith himself hops on bass, as the artists with some real chops take hacks at the big man's music.

Of course, with the Pretty Lights live band, you get Lettuce and Break Science--now that's a Royal Family Records reunion if I've ever heard one. Throw Flying Lotus, Beats Antique, and The Glitch Mob on top of that, and you're getting into some dangerous territory. That's a flawless lineup.

Anonevents, Sunset SF, and Another Planet do not mess around. They've added Bit Funk, Pumpkin, Motion Potion, and a whole room of uptempo, danceable music to keep fans moving all night between the stages. Recently added Fort Knox Five will be bringing a bit of that nu-funk to the west coast, and Worthy reps that all important Dirtybird sound for SF.

Don't forget about the performance artists, trapeze acts, visual spectacles, and all the extras that make NYE so special. A devoted trapeze stage will feature Delachaux, The Klown, The Gentlemen Callers of Los Angeles, The Bellhop, Speakeasy Syndicate, Jazzy Fox, and an entire slew of burlesque performers. Yowzers. This hallowed event has been going on for years, and the promoters know exactly what it takes to send that all important night into the new year.

GA tickets are available at $55 and $95 for the 30th and 31st, respectively, or you can purchase a 2-day package for $135 and save some cash. VIP 2-day packages are also on-sale for $175, with all the perks that come along with being an honorary guest.
