Nothing excites us more than the impending release of new Digital Tape Machine tracks. The livetronica supergroup featuring members of Umphrey's McGee, The Hue, Strange Arrangement, and other Chicago staples like DJ My Boy Elroy. With a focus on creating video game music in the studio, the live show takes on a whole new shape on stage.

Today's premiere, "Big N Tall" has been morphing over the last couple of years of live shows into an aggressive animal with elements of hip-hop, dubstep, and good ol' fashioned rock 'n' roll courtesy of some soaring, guitar-fueled climaxes.

Wednesday, April 23rd, the band releases Omens, recorded, mixed, and produced by the band itself, with each member contributing to the writing process. We can only hope the release of this EP hearkens more live dates for this festival season.
