Just in time for your spooky festivities, psychedelic, underground bass acts Mystic Grizzly and Quite Possibly team up on “The Boogie” with Boyo.
Jordan Hoffman teams up with fellow Floridian Devin Norton on this dark and bubbly tune that evokes some real eeriness. There's a sense of uneasiness in the minor laden key of “The Boogie.”
Hoffman's Manifest Gang has gotten a lot of action in the southeast and across the midwest thanks to a resurgence in psychedelic bass music fueled in large part by the influx of producers from the weirder, left-field sounds. Experimental bass is what this new one is all about, a bit of a departure from the more straightforward Bassrush EP which last brought Mystic Grizzly to our feeds.
Hoffman is staying busy this fall. He's in Arizona tonight for Halloween, then off to Minneapolis, Syracuse, Baltimore, Detroit, Grand Rapids and more in November. Quite Possibly joins a few Spicy Bois in Fort Collins at the end of November.
