This week, the debut solo effort from Zach Morillo dropped on Muti. The Pathway EP is the first release we've heard from Morillo since his "S.S.S." made the rounds via Foundation Recordings a few months back. Full of his signature blend of dub, trap, and psychedelic bass, the 5-track EP is a stunning collection of eastern melodies, knee-snappin' grooves, and plenty of darkness for the late-night dance sesh. Standouts "Bangalore," "Shikaka," and the title track, "Pathway," demonstrate's Morillo's ability to layer a multitude of sounds without muddying up his soundscape, and keeping his cuts clean and sharp. Love this one.
