Fans making their way to The Untz Festival might chance upon Luxora Major for the first time, but bass music aficionados on the west coast are already likely familiar with Jena Boehm.
Her "world bass" sound has brought her out on bills with many of our favorite producers in the underground electronic scene, and now it's landed her on our lineup. Today we premiere a fresh and intoxicating tune from her, “Dysthymia,” that despite the blue connotation (it's the medical term for chronic depression), has picked us right up. See, silver linings. Mastered by our good friend SubDocta, you get plenty of low end excitement on this one without feeling low.
You can catch Luxora Major along with other world bass provacateurs like spacegeishA, bioLumiGen, Duffrey, and Resonant Language at The Untz Festival from June 1-2 with an Early Arrival Party on May 31st in Mariposa, California. Tickets are on sale now at www.theuntzfestival.com.
