Luke Mandala unveils psybass project Mandala Affect with an epic mix

Luke Mandala has been in the house and techno game for nearly two decades. The veteran producer and DJ based in Eugene, Oregon has been spinning for years, and has releases on Desert Trax, Merkaba Music, Desert Hearts, Booka Shade Music, and Addictech Records, among others, but today we are thrilled to announce the launch of his new psybass project.
Mandala Affect builds off his love of artists like Bluetech, Kalya Scintilla, Kaminanda, and Hedflux, while using his house/techno skills to craft groovy psychedelic bass tunes. His debut live set, recorded in late March in his hometown, weaves together a beautiful mix of CharlestheFirst x Clozee, TRUTH, Whitebear x TRIBONE, sun:monx, and more right alongside his originals and edits under the new project name. His veteran DJ skills come into play when you hear these breathtaking transitions and seamless changes across this free-range, nearly 90-minute set, which also happens to be available as a free download.
Luke Mandala isn't retiring his house/techno side anytime soon, on the contrary, now he is free to pursue all avenues of performance and production under these symbiotic monikers.
