Liquid Stranger has unleashed numerous bangers over the years, including his worldwide hit “Ripple,” which climbed its way to the top of Beatport’s Dubstep Chart. In addition to all of his successful singles, he has just released the latest in his Nomad EP series.
“Bounce” bring the hard bass, with influences from glitch to funk. This track is the heaviest track out of the new collection. "Freefall" is a bit more deep and experimental, with funky vocals that pull the whole track together. The track takes us on a journey and seems to be an exploration of sound. The third and final track, "Zenith," has what can only be described as a very Pink Floyd-esque intro. The track has a dream-like feel while keeping an old-school funk vibe.
Nomad Vol. 2 is out now on Liquid Stranger’s new label, Wakaan. All three tracks were extremely well written, and explore three very different sounds. This is truly a must for any fans of Bassnectar, Shpongle, and Tipper.
