Favorite ThisImaginary Funtime League brings Kaminanda, Aligning Minds to NJ this weekend

Published: December 18, 2013

This Saturday, December 21st, the Imaginary Funtime League is bringing transformational energy to rural New Jersey. Nestled in northern Jersey an hour from both NYC and Philly, the Washington Theatre in Washington, NJ will play home to a night of intentional activism, music, and positive vibrations. The IFL folks pride themselves on involving each participant in the night through creative arts and collaborative pieces.

Aligning Minds and Kaminanda will be headlining a night of wild excitement, as the theme of the night, the Full Moon Bounce, invites participants to play like they're at a party on the moon. In fact, the best space-themed costume will walk away with a prize. Artists, projections, live painting, and imaginations will run rampant, denying the earthly bounds of space, time, and gravity.

It all started with FARM Fest this past summer, which drew hundreds of likeminded individuals together to spark the artistic endeavors of not just musicians, but painters, dancers, decorators, and dreamers. Since then, the group has launched micro-sites at Great North, worked with Alex Grey and Papadosio, and even helped Unicorn Meat in NYC transform a warehouse for its big, old-school rave with Shpongle and Moby. IFL is on fire, and this weekend, fans from all over the tri-state area will get to experience the transformational change sweeping the country.
