It's time to check in once again with Haywyre in his pursuit of A Song Per Week. We're wondering if there's some sort of radioactive spider or intense gamma radiation behind these continually mind-blowing efforts. Somehow, he finds a new boundary to push that other artists didn't even realize existed. "Suspended" is a nebulous, shifting bubbler that is at once double-time and half-time, darting this way and that, and completely uncategorizable. It's truly unique, and absolutely his from top to bottom. This coming album is going to be a gamechanger.

"Suspended" serves as a great complement to Haywyre's remix of Au5 and Fractal's "Subvert." The Minnesota-based producer had been studying piano since the age of 6. His ear for good music is apparent on "Subvert," as he infuses the elements of jazz that he is known for into his production. To tie it all together, Au5 mastered the remix. You can grab this one now on Beatport.
