The Untz Festival Phase 3The old adage "you have to spend money to make money" rings true in almost any scenario and the music industry is no exception. As AJ Gillman, drummer for Greener Grounds, points out in a video on the band's Kickstarter campaign page, "It's really expensive being in a band, believe it or not."

Greener Grounds, a fast-growing livetronica quintet out of Denver, CO, is on a mission to top their energetic debut EP, Photosynthesis, and they're inviting fans to be a part of the process. Seeking to raise $4,000 via Kickstarter in the month of March, the band plans to use the funds for the creation of their first full length album to be entitled, Momentous.

"We want high quality production; we want the best of the best," says bassist Jay Rieder.

The five musicians not only promise to deliver a gift that keeps on giving, a new 9-track album due out this July, they've got even more to offer. Fans who choose to help out have the opportunity to receive items of thanks that range from advance digital copies of the new album and signed Greener Grounds merch to an album release Backyard BBQ Celebration and VIP backstage passes.

The band emerges from the studio to a busy summer schedule of festival dates, including a lineup spot at The Untz Festival taking place June 2-4 in Mariposa, CA. Help jam band visionaries Greener Grounds reach their goal by clicking here: http://kck.st/1XYTlCT.
