We can always count on Ethan Glass to bring the manga vibes to our feed. The slime punk producer is back with “Haki Yoi,” a bruising effort with some detours into trippy, ambient, and electronica areas. Glass' sound appears to be in flux, as he tries out some new elements, but his production prowess is always evident.

This latest single comes on the heels of his Bassrush Records track from the summer, “Please I Want U.” While “Haki Yoi” is decidedly in the underground camp, the mainstream muscle is there, should Ethan Glass choose to flex it. He remains one of the most exciting bass acts we get to cover on our feeds, and we always hope for more, especially if a new mix like MAX 400 is written in the tea leaves.
