What is the experience of women in our beloved festival scene? What are the amazing benefits, and what are some of the drawbacks that need to be addressed not only by festival organizers, but attendees, themselves?

The Power of Women in Festival Culture panel that assembled in the Electric Glen at Electric Forest this year and featured artists Lindsey Stirling and Nattali Rize, yoga and wellness instructor Hannah Muse, Madison House Presents' Alicia Karlin, and Her Forest initiative coordinator and moderator Kiki Federico, sought to suss out the answers, and provide a forum to address those matters. The women discussed their own experiences in the festival world, discussed possible solutions to problems that have arisen, and allowed those gathered to interact with the panelists to create a dialogue about the female festival journey.

Each year, TheUntz.com and American Music & Sound host the Electric Glen at Electric Forest. The interactive zone brings artists and fans together to play with the newest technology in the production and DJ world from cutting-edge brands like Reloop, Xone, Nord, and Studio Logic. Fans can get hands-on tutorials with the gear, and also check out artist panels with headliners on the bill hosted by The Untz.

If you missed our fun panels at Electric Forest, have no fear, you can watch our lively discussion with headliners Big Gigantic about their special set with The Motet, and re-live our All About That Bass panel with legends DJ Optical, Dabin, and Minnesota. We have more panel footage coming your way, including The Perfect Remix with Illenium, Vaski, and jackLNDN.
