You had to assume that on top of all the amazing artists we've collected on our music lineup our array of visual artists would be just as spectacular. Generally "assuming" makes a you-know-what out of you-know-who, but amazing doesn't even begin to describe the talented painters, lined up for The Untz Festival, which is a mere four weeks away June 2-4 at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds in Mariposa, Calif.

Assembled by the DreamScape Collective, who has been behind the art onslaught at wildly imaginative events like Desert Hearts, this assortment of painters covers a wide variety of styles, looks, and subject matter. What does tie them all together is the fact that they're all super badasses.

DreamScape proudly presents a bursting artist lineup of Brad Rhadwood, Brian Pollett (PsyBry), Carolina Galleran, Darcie Odom, Eoin Colgan, Eric Tresback, Ian Hubbard, Jef Logan, Matt Milano, Mike Lazarus, Peter Goode, Rita Litchwardt, Steven Lopez, Telopa Treloky, and Derek Heinemann.

From psychedelic Greek goddesses to graphic novel heroines to otherworldly landscapes, these talented visual artists craft entire worlds right before your eyes to the tunes of the other big talents on the lineup. These wizards will be painting along with Phutureprimitive, Kalya Scintilla, Desert Dwellers, Kaminanda, Sixis, Mystral, Tribone, and more. The artistry abounds when the sonic forces combine with the painted brush. It's magic, and we get to watch it all unfold. Beats watching TV, huh?

It's not just about the music with us, we're also all about that art. It's a feast for the ears and eyes (and the tongue and tummy, too, because there is going to be a lot of kickass food, as well), so join us in northern California in early June (we're less than a month away), because there is an entire DreamScape waiting for you on the other side.
