To celebrate the official launch of the new platform, artists from around the globe are joining forces to produce a truly international and interactive digital music festival. Headliners The Crystal Method, 3LAU, and Adrian Lux will anchor the three-day online experience taking place November 14th-16th.
Mixify allows DJs to stream live events or present pre-recorded mixes to a global audience in a virtual venue where users to interact with one another, chatting about the music and even directing the flow of the sets. The focus lies not only with crisp audio quality, but also with creating a rich visual component. The platform moves from beta testing to full public consumption in a big way with support acts like Styles & Complete, ReSet!, and Ken Loi, representing sounds from across the electronic music spectrum like house, trance, dubstep, trap, and electro.
The Untz is excited to get in on the action, presenting sets from two of our favorite up-and-coming acts. Cincinnati-based Spankalicious will spin his unique brand of trap and psychedelic bounce. Fresh off his nationwide Do Magical Things tour and the release of his latest EP Highest Expectations, Spank brings an original aesthetic to the table that is not to be missed. Also joining in the fun is the uber-talented youngster Shreddie Mercury, whose viral electro-house remixes caught the attention of Zedd, winning his Beatport contest for "Spectrum." This producer has an addictive sound sure to set the internet ablaze.
We'd love for you to join us online next week for the kickoff of the UNITY Digital Music Festival, whether you're at home, work, or on-the-go. If you can never find the time to make it out to shows, or if festival tickets are just too expensive for you, join us in the 21st century for this one-of-a-kind digital event.
