A familiar face returns to our feeds today. Comisar was one of the finalists selected for The Untz Challenge back in 2019 (when we actually had things like festivals that our winners could play). While festivals have gone away, Chris Comisar has managed to stay busy playing The Black Box in Denver and supporting CloZee on her 8-night Mish run a month ago in northern Colorado, as well as produce a brand new album.
Make Believe comes out at the end of this week. In true Comisar fashion, he's blended beautiful, melodic passages with more hard-hitting sections. It was his ability to go really lush and gorgeous and then counterpunch with heavy that won him his many festival slots last year.
Today Comisar debuts “Only You” ahead of the album's release on December 4th. It's got an enchanting groove that descends into some darker territory, much like his previous single, “Lights,” which also precedes the release of the 11-track album.
