Lightning in a BottleKnee deep in lineup revelation season, the annual Lightning in a Bottle festival makes a triumphant unveiling of its 2016 roster. The biggest event thrown by one of southern California's most iconic event collectives, The Do Lab, returns to San Antonio Lake Recreation Area in Bradley, Calif. halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles from May 25-30 this Memorial Day Weekend.

Divided over three stages, the artists on LiB tend to court a hipper crowd, pulling in indie electronica, house and techno, and psychedelic bass from the underground scenes in North and South America, as well as Europe. Fan favorites return, and newcomers spread acros the the gorgeous structures, an important part of the Do Lab's M.O.

The Lightning Stage hosts the bigger, live acts, this year calling Chet Faker, Jamie XX, Grimes, Big Gigantic, Emancipator Ensemble, Nahko and Medicine for the People and the German supergroup Moderat (comprised of Modeselector and Apparat) amongst its top-billed.

The Thunder Stage acquired all the psychelic and subsonic fun you could ever want. Mr. Carmack, The Polish Ambassador, Cashmere Cat, TOKiMONSTA, PANTyRAiD, a rockin' Minnesota B2B G Jones set, and a special Desert Dwellers Live Experience complete with aerial acrobatics, fire performance, and a powerful lead vocalist.

The Woogie is where all your house and techno needs are met. Four Tet, Justin Jay, Josh Wink, andhim, &me, Jonas Rasthman will all meet up and throw down on the festival's most infamous stage.

Last year, Lightning in a Bottle hit capacity before doors opened, so make sure you grab your passes, RV hookups, and all the extras at lightninginabottle.org.
