If you have yet to come across the monster party anthem “Dance (A$$)” by Big Sean and Nicki Minaj, we have to question what you have been doing with your life these last six months. The dance floor banger goes hard and was meant to have ladies taking shots, getting wild, and shaking their goods.

Well today we have a massive remix of this song for you, in the form of a party rocking, bass whompin’ switch up by the Boulder collective Crushendo. The duo consisting of Cody Yozipovic (Frequent C) and Julian Garland (The Candyman) have been melting faces as of late with their carefully crafted intelligent bass music that possesses facets of many different genres and an overall steezy aura. Their hip-hop mentality blends flawlessly with classically influenced soundscapes and occasional dubstep tones to top off their relentless servings of tasty musical treats that will satisfy any listener’s appetite—for destruction that is.

As of late the group has been focusing on unleashing dynamic originals like “Trouble” and their Drop Logic EP, so you know it’s going to be a good day when the two combine forces for their first remix together under their new alias.

“Dance (A$$)” strikes immediately with a slew of tenacious drum hits, out of this world soundwaves, and the classic Big Sean lyrics “Stop, now make that mother fucker hammer time,” that have been repeated ad nauseam by college kids across the nation. Soon after the listener is struck by a whirlwind of bubbly, charismatic synths and a healthy dose of booming glitched out vocals that will have them partying like it was the summer of ‘69. Next up is a monstrous section that features gargantuan instrumentations and a confident dub line that layer perfectly under Nicki Minaj rapping about her ass for 16 bars.

Crushendo proves once again there is no letting up in the constant pursuit to create memorable cuts that all seem like they were unloaded from the barrel of a twelve gauge shotgun. “Dance (A$$)” was a perfect remix for the duo to take on, and it did not disappoint.
