Air JawsPerhaps TheUntz.com should change its name to TibautUntz.com, because we've got yet another dose of DJ Thibault coming right at you as part of the "20 Tracks in 30 Days" feature celebrating TheUntz.com 2011 Digital Music Sampler. Yesterday, Tibaut Bowman joined his colleague Felix Moreno (Future Rock) on "20 in 30" with their Auto Body tune "Can't Forget You." Today, DJ Thibault is solo, with his first original electro banger "Air Jaws," which he quickly followed with his second, "Interloper," the week before 3 smashing performances at North Coast Music Festival in Chicago.

Each effect is so pure and crystalline, like beautiful tropical beach water, while the real devil lurks just below the surface.  When that drop hits, screaming synths blast through frenzied wobbles that splash the cut with a dash of chaos. In its simplicity and elegance, the tune is reminiscent of Kurt Weill and Berthold Brecht's "Mackie Messer," or "Mack the Knife," as it popularly became known: When the shark bites with his teeth dear/Scarlet billows start to spread...
